Work

Sandsöy, north of Lofoten in northern Norway. A 150-year-old barn is covered by glass in a large greenhouse. Parts of the old barn are furnished with a café, slaughterhouse and shop for organic meat and sheepskin from the family's grazing sheep and moose hunting on the island. The barn's roof is partially demolished and provides space for a generous roof terrace with miles of view over mountains, the North Sea and the northern lights. Here is a place created for a fantastic tourist attraction sheltered from wind and rain and with a chance to taste locally grown vegetables north of Lofoten.
